Hayhoe Homes is building again in Tillsonburg! The Tarion award-winning developer broke ground earlier today for its latest community, Andrews Crossing. When complete, the new subdivision is expected to contain 155 detached homes and 28 townhomes. “We’ve had great success in Tillsonburg over the last few years,” says Joe Hayhoe, director of marketing for Hayhoe Homes. “Park Place, Reynolds Way and Glendale West all sold out very quickly and we anticipate there will be great interest in Andrews Crossing as well.”

The new neighbourhood is located on a 31-acre site east of Quarter Town Line, between
Concession Street and Sanders Crescent. With a prime location close to Westfield Public
School, Andrews Crossing is expected to appeal to homebuyers of all ages, including young
families. “We’re very grateful for the investment Hayhoe Homes continues to make in our community,” says Mayor Stephen Molnar. “They have been a fantastic partner with the Town over the last five years through our Discover Tillsonburg co-operative marketing program and the remarkable quality of their product has brought many new residents to Tilllsonburg.”

The name “Andrews Crossing” honours Lloyd Andrews, a Tillsonburg native who served in World War I as a teenager and then played for the Toronto St. Patricks in the 1920s. During his four seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), Andrews played 53 games, scored 8 goals and added 5 assists for 13 points. He also helped Toronto win the Stanley Cup by scoring a game-winning goal in game four of the 1922 Stanley Cup finals.

“We’re very pleased that Hayhoe Homes has chosen Tillsonburg for its next community,” says Cephas Panschow, Economic Development Commissioner for the Town of Tillsonburg. “As Tillsonburg prepares to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the NHL this August, it’s neat to see this new development begin to take shape.”

“Hayhoe Homes has a proven track record in new home construction and has demonstrated a keen understanding of what today’s buyers are looking for in a home,” says Colleen Pepper, Marketing and Communications Officer. “We wish them every success in this latest venture.”
