We're Hiring a Service Technician and Home Design Manager!

Qualifications for the Home Design Manager role include a three-year diploma in architectural technology or a similar degree, coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in residential architectural design. Additionally, candidates must possess a thorough understanding of typical residential building techniques and Part 9 of the Ontario Building Code.  BCIN certification in at least the following categories is required: General Legal and House and/or Small Buildings. Basic knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code is preferred.

The role necessitates the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive working drawings that function as detailed work instructions for new home construction. Experience collaborating with land surveyors, site and structural engineers, as well as truss and HVAC designers to compile complete and thorough building permit applications is essential.   Effective management of a team of home designers is required. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and professional, comfortable with networking and navigating unfamiliar situations.

The Service Technician needs at least two years of experience in all aspects of new home construction, extensive experience with carpentry and drywall repair, experience with general maintenance of new homes, knowledge of the new home building process, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform in a self-directed environment.
